This is the original design where PACKBAGS started.
The BASKET BACKPACK consists of a basket woven outer shell and an inner bag module with an integrated laptop pocket and a roll-top closure, that can double as a tote bag.
The shoulder strap and closing strap are 'woven' through the basket grid, and are fastened with custom made, detachable metal buckles that make them adjustable.
This pre-assembled backpack consists of the following modules:
- M-BASKET 10X7X3: The outer basket is woven of 100% polyester webbing, made from recycled pet bottles, handmade in The Netherlands.
- M-BAG 14X7X3 2.0: The inner bag is made from WeatherMax® waterproof polyester fabric. Originally developed for marine purposes, this made in USA material will keep your belongings safe and dry as you go through your day! It comes with an integrated laptop pocket and handles to use this module as a separate item or as part of your A-BACKPACK.
- M-STRAP 6: The closing strap is 100% polyester webbing, made from recycled pet bottles, handmade in the Netherlands.
- M-STRAP 56: The closing strap is 100% polyester webbing, made from recycled pet bottles, handmade in the Netherlands.
- M-BUCKLE SET B: 2 removable matte steel buckles to attach the closing strap and 1 matte steel part to secure the shoulder straps.
